Weekend Dates:

Answer: Solo Christo is for Christians. The retreat is most meaningful for those believers who are either new to the faith or have yet to feel a sense of community through participation in their local church.

Answer: Solo Christo is $150 for the whole weekend. This includes all course materials, 3 meals a day, and 3 nights lodging. There is an initial $50 for registration that your sponsor might pay, and local churches offer scholarships to those who are financial limited for the weekend.

Answer: We hope your weekend will draw you deeper in your relationship with God, and leave you with life long relationships of other Christians who will journey with you. We encourage all candidates to take the retreat seriously, which means intentionally “unplugging” from our screens, distractions, phones & devices.

Answer: Yes and no. We have a tight, carefully thought out schedule which we will stick to in order to honor the many volunteers who will be serving. However, we also have “built-in” intentional free time. We believe these moments for reflection are an essential component of the retreat weekend.

The retreat is Thursday night – Sunday morning. Please bring plenty of changes of comfortable clothes, nothing too fancy. We’ll have a morning worship service on Sunday where you can wear business casual. You can bring snacks, but we’ll have plenty available as well. Bring all necessary toiletries, a bible, and a heart that is ready to participate.

Each candidate is required to have a sponsor. It is their job to prepare you for your weekend retreat, answer any of your questions, and reconnect with you after the weekend is over to walk with you in what we call our 4th Day.
